This is a re-seed, but I don't think Eugene Jarecki's award-winning documentary about the Iraq war and the US military industrial complex has received the attention it deserves.

Thank you, my Friend. Wonder how you make something required viewing by our government leadership?
That's a good question, Dwight. I don't think you can, but hopefully, some of them might read Newsvine once in a while ;-)
Old News. And while I think this documentary had an important message, I also think it was poorly done. I would recommend BBC's The Power of Nightmares instead.
The power of nightmares is an excellent doco, saw it last week.
Oh the serendipity...
I have just this morning watched Why We Fight. It is a fine documentary. I really liked the eisenhower era knowledge of how the miliary-industrial complex was spawned and the huge amount of resources (worldwide) poured into it 1948 - 52.
This type of seed is exactly why I love reading the 'vine, and I recommend the film to everyone. US conflict to force diplomactic change is an extremely dangerous precedent. The world needs to see more information sources/media asking the questions this film does. The US needs political reforms and a congress willing to flex its muscle.
Keep posting/seeding Keld, I very much enjoy reading your stuff.
Thank you very much, rdaugherty.
